This comes after Schofield’s recent admission regarding an affair with a younger ITV colleague.

Willoughby has been on a two-week break from the hit show after initially taking a week during Schofield’s departure.
The presenter has been spotted on holiday in the Algarve, Portugal with her parents, sister and family for another week.
Rumours have been circulating about the presenter’s future on the hit ITV show.

The presenter is set to return to the ITV programme on Monday June 5.
Upon her return, Willoughby will issue a “honest and personal” statement regarding the recent scandal that has rocked ITV and her co-star’s departure.
According to The Sun, Willoughby wants to express to viewers how difficult the situation has been not only for herself but for others working behind the scenes on the show.
Willoughby’s statement will be planned for the top of This Morning’s Monday episode when she is set to appear with co-host Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle.
A Sun source added that Willoughby “has thought about what she will say and written it in advance, taking her time to get the words right. It’s not something she’s being forced to do.
“It won’t be an easy moment for her, and she knows she could get emotional, but she thinks it’s the right thing to do and wants to speak about it in an honest way.”
BBC have reportedly been courting Willoughby to lure her away from ITV.
What has Holly Willoughby said about Phillip Schofield?
The ITV presenter has remained largely tight lipped regarding the Schofield scandal but broke her silence on Instagram on May 29.
She wrote: “It’s taken time to process yesterday’s news.
“When reports of this relationship first surfaced, I asked Phil directly if this was true and was told it was not.
“It’s been very hurtful to now find out that this was a lie.”
Schofield has since issued an apology to Willoughby admitting he texted his former co-star.
In an explosive interview with The Sun, Schofield said she was unaware about the affair and that he had “lost his best friend”.
Schofield continued: “She didn’t reply and I understand why she didn’t reply, as well. So yeah. If anyone is in any way linking Holly to this; that is absolutely, wholly untrue.”
